BG PD Series PD-6i
An uncommon blend of technology, flawless sound and architectural style The PD-6 is setting a new benchmark for In-Wall speaker systems. Each PD-6 contains a BG's patented Neo3PDR Neodymium planar ribbon tweeter that delivers an extremely broad, well-defined soundfield over the entire listening area. Adding to the NEO-3PDR tweeter's stunning dispersion and resolution, the PD-6 takes advantage of the innovative NRT, (NeoRadiaTechnology) motor structure with high-excursion capabilities and very low distortion. The high-tech woofer design makes use of a small NRT, Neodymium magnet structure to provide an acoustically-transparent woofer chassis. This dramatically improves midrange clarity by eliminating sound reflections directly behind the woofer. The superior Kevlar cone woofers used in the PD-Series not only take advantage of the NRT for sensational two-channel clarity, but are also capable of reaching and maintaining the extreme output levels associated with home theater applications.
