The dual woofers, mechanically coupled via a rigid cylindrical housing, are electronically connected in phase and mounted with their cones in opposing directions. This causes the reactive forces of each woofer to effectively cancel one another and deliver tight, detailed bass notes that complement the planar ribbon’s performance.
