The
AVR-888's audio and video circuitry has been updated to provide high-end surround performance in a mid priced A/V receiver. Incorporating
HDMI v1.3a I/O ports allows the
AVR-888 to playback of many of today's audio video formats, and at the same time, provides ease of use and control. Low THD rated amplifiers deliver pure clean high power sound for enhanced listening enjoyment, even into demanding speakers. Integration into home control systems has also been considered with the employment of IR serial I/O control ports. Setup has been simplified by simply plugging in the included calibration microphone and starting the Audyssey Mult EQ calibration process. Our newly developed IR pre-programmed remote control is also included.
